What are we looking for?

CONTEMPORARY • EDGY • PROLIFIC • ARTISTS!

APPLY FOR MEMBERSHIP

Pirate has been showing contemporary, cutting edge art for over 25 years. Membership is offered on two levels: Associate and Pirate.

All applicants must first join the gallery at the Associate level, which entitles the artist a solo show in the Associate Gallery (back gallery of the space) and participation in the members show. After an associate has shown in the Associate Gallery, and has expressed interest in becoming a Pirate, that artist will be included in jury by images for full membership (Pirate) when openings arise.

Membership submissions are reviewed on the last Monday of each month, providing there are openings for membership. If there are no openings, submissions will be held on file for future review.

*If you require your information back promptly, please note so in your packet. For all returns of information please include a SASE with your information so we can return them to you.

Artist interested in applying for membership should submit the following:

1. Slides/digital - min 5 / max 10
2. Slide descriptions, on a seperate sheet of paper,
numbered to coordinate with numbers on slides.
3. Give: title, dimensions, media.
4. Resume / CV
5. Cover letter expressing your interest and intentions if selected for membship.
6. SASE
